A cuvee of 100% Pinot Noir from a single vineyard parcel, Meurtet, owned by Deutz in the village of Ay where the House & production facility are located. Hommage à William Deutz 2015 – Meurtet is a single varietal and single parcel wine made from grapes grown exclusively in the Meurtet parcel in Aÿ, owned by Champagne Deutz. An incredibly distinctive and distinguished cuvée. Its fine effervescence and delicate beads of bubbles attest to the exceptional quality of this wine, its terroir and its varietals which have been lovingly nurtured by man. The intensity of its aromas and colors are in perfect unison. This harmonious wine evolves to disclose notes of apricot, cherry and zesty red fruit and attests to Deutz’ perfect mastery of the vinification process. Delicate and fruity on the nose, subtle and elegant on the palate, tempting yet also well-structured and lingering, utterly harmonious This is among our favorite Champagnes we offer & an amazing value at its $129 price point!

This single-vineyard, 100% Pinot Noir Champagne from the noblest of terroirs in Ambonnay hails from some of Egly’s oldest vines (planted in 1947). “Les Crayeres” means chalk, and it’s what this incredible vineyard has in spades. “Crayeres” is pure, solid chalk, which gives this peerless Champagne its definition and fathomless complexity.  Egly says that “Crayeres” is the essence of what Champagne used to be, before Chardonnay was involved. 100% fermented in barrel; not filtered or fined. The nose is tantalizingly complex, with mixed notes of jelled red fruits, Mirabelle plums, pepper and chalk dust.  Incredibly vinous in its precision and peppery power; delicate vanilla and honey round it out. This adorable Rosé is made of 90% Chardonnay from the Côtes de Blancs and 10% Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, from Vezernay. The combination of these two varieties gives birth to a rosé fresh and light, dressed subtly with a tinge of deep pink. It is straightforward with delicacy and brightness that play together with the aromas of raspberry and strawberry. Priced extremely correctly at $79.00!

Our sole offering in the "Pet-Nat" category, but a fine example that is deserving of your attention! 100% Solaris, a new varietal which requires no chemical treatments in either the vineyard or cellar. This sparkling wine belongs in the category dubbed “Col Fondo” in Italy as its secondary fermentation takes place mostly in tank before being bottled where it finishes leaving both the CO2 bubbles but also a small deposit of sediment which is actually the yeast cells. The wine can be decanted off the sediment or served complete. Mildly fizzy, you will find floral notes in the nose with apple and stone fruits prevalent along with tropical notes. On the palate, the wine shows fresh acidity with a juicy texture
